Music Teacher Guild
The Music Teacher Guild, founded by educators, is a global organization dedicated to fostering, creating, and guiding music educators toward mastery. Our member-led initiative provides diverse educational services and products aimed at enhancing the capabilities of music teachers. We firmly believe that by elevating the knowledge, skills, and experiences of music teachers across all genres, we can reduce attrition, enhance lifestyles, foster well-managed programs, and ultimately cultivate a larger community of passionate music makers.
We believe that the key to changing music education is improving the skills, connectivity, and resources of the music educators themselves. We believe music educators deserve the best professional development on the planet.
We have a robust 5-year plan and are actively looking for partner funding to help us make this dream a reality. Our goal is to launch MTG Connect with a minimum of 50 vetted, checked, and trained mentors by the end of May 2024.
The MTG founders are experienced community builders, digital product managers, and successful entrepreneurs who have backgrounds in studio and classroom education across a wide swath of the music teaching spectrum. We have done the research and know what effective skill instruction looks like based on empirical evidence and data. We’re ready to use all our experience, education, and resources to bring this vision to life.
