Why Now?
Founded in early 2024, MTG is a growing organization with a big mission:
To ensure every music teacher has the tools to ignite their students’ potential and create lasting musical impact.
Through mentorship, education, and unwavering support, we're building a space where music educators—whether they're just starting or decades into their career—feel confident, prepared, and valued.
But we can't do it alone.
What We’re Building
Our current programs include:
🎓 Online courses that close the preparation gaps in teacher education
🤝 1:1 and small-group mentorship designed for music educators at all career stages
And we’re not stopping there. Our goal is to fully fund mentorship for 200 new music teachers by the end of 2026.
As we grow into nonprofit status, we need a board of directors ready to lead with heart and vision.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t have to be a music teacher to join the board.
But you do need to care deeply about the power of music education and the people who make it possible.
We’re seeking individuals who bring:
A variety of professional experience
Connections in education, arts, nonprofit, or industry sectors
A collaborative spirit
A desire to give back in a meaningful, lasting way
Bonus: Experience in nonprofit leadership or fundraising
This is a volunteer role with flexible time commitments—and a big opportunity to shape something truly impactful.
